ObjectFrame's unique strength is our ability to quickly understand new business and technology domains, and then to quickly implement solutions which address near-term requirements, but which are still in line with long-term objectives. It's a delicate balance of sometimes conflicting demands we pride ourselves on navigating smoothly.

Our experience with the Android platform is no exception. The client wanted an Android app built in the shortest possible timeframe and within a limited budget. While ObjectFrame was not familiar with the Android platform at the time (in 2009 - we have since worked on several Android projects), we had extensive experience in Java and had dabbled in mobile device development. We took on the project.

In under 100 hours we delivered BorrowBuddy, an app which integrates with the phone's contact list to select an individual to borrow/lend something from/to, integrates with the phone's camera to take a picture of the item, implements a scheduler to post periodic reminders of the transaction, and integrates with available email clients to send pre-formatted reminder emails.

ObjectFrame and NetWeb (see Our Team) are currently developing an innovative and extensive app called DroidYC as a client to myYC and as a stand-alone tool serving the sailing community. See DroidYC for details.
