Role:   Design and development of a software systems to control a precision optical machining tool. Development of in-house operational support software.

Solution:   In 1998, ObjectFrame helped OptiPro develop an end to end software package that provides a level of control and automation in the optical manufacturing process which can not be matched by conventional means. The first customer was so pleased that they immediately started dismantling their conventional tool set. In 2009, ObjectFrame again helped OptiPro develop a precision polishing system with an air-bearing platform to measure aspherical surfaces with the potential to work with free-form optics. The system met with rave reviews at that year's OptiFab. In the interim, and continuing through present day, ObjectFrame periodically helps OptiPro with internal support software to do things like enhance the time managment capabilities of their MRP system and a wizard to help generate internal requisitions for particular purposes.
